50501 North Georgia Hosts a Veterans Fundraiser at Habersham County Wall of Honor Park
Cornelia, Georgia — June 6, 2026
50501 North GA (Chapter of 50501GA) is proud to host a community fundraising event on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Habersham County Veterans’ Wall of Honor Park, located at 660 US-441 BUS, Cornelia, GA 30531. Proceeds from the event will benefit both the Habersham County Veterans’ Wall of Honor and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7720, which serves veterans throughout Habersham County, White County, and the surrounding communities.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of food, games, and family-friendly activities while supporting local veterans and veteran-focused organizations.
BBQ Plate Fundraiser
Delicious BBQ plates prepared by Mickey Pigg’s BBQ of Alto will be available for $17 per plate. Advance ticket purchases are available through June 5, 2026. To reserve tickets, please call (470) 252-8488.
Food Truck Refreshments
Kona Ice of Lula will be on-site offering a wide selection of flavored shaved ice from their food truck.
Games and Activities
Guests can participate in outdoor games for $20 per game including at least 1 Adult, which includes a 20-minute play session featuring:
- Cornhole
- Giant 4-in-a-Row
- Giant Tumbling Tower
- Giant Yahtzee
- Ladder Toss
Silent Auction
A silent auction featuring donated items and experiences will also be held throughout the event, providing additional opportunities to support local veterans through charitable giving.
50501 North Georgia invites community members, families, and supporters to join us for a day of great food, fun activities, and meaningful service to those who have served our nation.
As a grassroots organization, 50501 GA is committed to nonviolence, community engagement, and nonpartisan community building. For the safety of all attendees, weapons are not permitted at any 50501 event under any circumstances.
